Effective: 29 August 2026 · Version 1.2 · Sagira is the platform/operator that facilitates the marketplace and payment workflow where applicable. As a merchant, you — not Sagira — are the seller of record for the goods you list.
1. Merchant responsibilities
You agree to accurately represent every product you list: accurate descriptions, accurate photos, accurate pricing, accurate stock availability, honest product condition, and authenticity where applicable. You remain responsible for the accuracy of your listing.
2. Shipping, fulfillment, packaging
You agree to fulfill orders on time and in appropriate packaging that protects the product in transit. You will provide a tracking number where applicable.
3. Returns, refunds, defective goods
You agree to honor legitimate return/refund requests as described in the Return & Refund Policy. Statutory consumer-protection rights always apply.
4. Customer communication
You agree to respond to customer messages within a reasonable time (default 48 hours). Repeated communication failures may result in Sagira review of your account.
5. Prohibited products + applicable law
You may not list prohibited, counterfeit, or restricted products. You are responsible for compliance with the laws of the operating country/market and for any applicable taxes, duties, licenses, or permits.
6. Dispute handling + evidence
You agree to participate in good faith in dispute resolution through Sagira, including providing requested evidence (photos, tracking, invoices, serial numbers). Sagira may review and decide disputes involving high-value orders, suspected fraud, repeated complaints, or policy exceptions.
7. Platform fees + payment processing
Sagira charges a platform fee per transaction as published in your dashboard. Payment processing is handled by Sagira's existing payment/Stripe architecture. Refunds are processed through Sagira's server-authoritative system and never issued directly by the merchant via Stripe — Sagira routes refunds to maintain safety.
8. Account suspension + fraud prevention
Sagira may suspend or close accounts in cases of fraud, repeated poor quality, repeated policy violations, or non-payment of fees. Suspension decisions are made by Sagira in good faith.
9. Final terms
These terms are versioned. By continuing to sell through Sagira after a new version becomes effective, you accept the updated terms. Historical transactions retain the policy version applicable at the time of the transaction.
A signed acceptance (policy version + timestamp + merchant ID) is captured separately when you accept these terms in the merchant dashboard. A checkbox alone is not sufficient — Sagira stores the full acceptance record.
