• Translation priority: community-verified → dictionary-verified → community-reviewed → AI-assisted → uncertain. AI never invents a language entry.
• Every translation carries a status badge — never presented as "verified" unless it actually is.
• Native-speaker recordings are labeled distinctly from AI pronunciation; generic AI speech is never shown as authentic native audio.
• Voice input uses your device’s built-in speech recognition. If a language isn’t reliably supported (Yakan, Tausug, Sinama, Chavacano), we ask you to type instead of faking "I heard you".
• Conversation data stays on your phone by default and is never used to improve the public dictionary automatically — contributing a phrase requires an explicit tap.
• Community submissions enter a Pending Language Review queue and never modify verified data until a reviewer approves.
